The man struck early this morning by the troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been identified as Jose Rodriguez, 34, of Jersey City. Lohan was charged with leaving the scene of an accident early this morning when she Rodriguez was struck by the Porsche Cayenne she was driving in Manhattan, officials said.
New York City police said Rodriguez, whom WPIX News identified as automotive codes diagnostic a Jersey City resident, was struck as he was walking at 355 16th St. at 2:30 a.m. and was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment of a knee injury.
Police said Lohan walked away from the vehicle but later returned to the area while police were with the location and she was handcuffed and taken into custody.
After being processed on the 10th Precinct, Lohan was issued a summons and released, police said, adding that she must appear in court on
